At-Home Joy with the Vaghela Family
One of the most rewarding parts of being a London family photographer is capturing families in their own spaces – where real memories are made. This beautiful in-home family session with Hitesh, Sonal, and their two daughters was filled with love, laughter, and unexpected joy (yes, even on the trampoline!).
We began the shoot in the heart of their home, where the girls felt totally at ease and their personalities could shine through. From the very first click, the connection between them was obvious – smiles, cuddles, and lots of giggles as they piled onto the sofa together.
There’s something so special about photographing families in their own environment. There’s no rush, no pressure – just time to be yourselves. The Vaghela home was warm, light-filled, and full of character, which made for the perfect setting for relaxed, natural family photos.
We moved from indoors to their sun-drenched garden, where the girls ran around and played freely while their parents joined in the fun – including a memorable trampoline moment that even a slightly reluctant mum and dad couldn’t resist! These spontaneous bursts of laughter, movement, and connection are what I live for as a family photographer.
We wrapped the session with a moment that meant a lot to Hitesh – a few portraits alongside his beloved classic Golf GTI. It was such a lovely personal touch, adding a layer of storytelling that’s unique to their family.
This shoot was a brilliant reminder that you don’t need to go far to create meaningful family photos – sometimes, the most precious memories are made right where you already are.
